Contested for agencies
Contested gives an agency one workspace for several client brands, with a report, a ticket list and an 8-page PDF brief for each brand.
Key facts
- The Portfolio plan covers up to 5 brands and 40 audits a month, shared across them.
- Each brand has its own report, its own running ticket list and its own competitors.
- Tickets leave Contested as files or links, one set per client.
- Results are shown with a check after each audit. Contested does not claim a ticket caused a score to change.
How does a workspace work for several clients?
You set up each client brand once: website, business model, market, aliases, competitors and the questions to ask, which you review before anything runs. The Portfolio plan allows up to 5 brands, and its 40 audits a month are shared across them. Need more brands? The Enterprise plan is agreed with you.
Audits run when you start them, within the plan's allowance. They are not scheduled for you every day.
What do you hand to a client?
- The 8-page PDF brief: the score, how the client compares with named competitors, the sources engines relied on, and the action plan.
- Export each client's tickets as CSV in the Jira, Asana or monday import layout, copy them as Markdown, or open a pre-filled Jira link. You can also send them straight to Trello, Asana or monday.com from the Action Plan, on a paid plan.
- The running ticket list for that brand, with the tickets your team has finished.
How do you show clients work and results?
Each case-file ticket quotes what an engine said, names the page it probably came from, gives the fix and says when it is done. That is the work you can show.
After the next audit Contested checks one narrow thing for each finished ticket, such as whether the page is live, names the brand or is now cited. The result is Happened, Not yet or Can't tell. This shows what changed. It does not prove that a ticket caused a score to move, and Contested does not promise an uplift.
What are the limits today?
- Audits run on demand, not every day.
- The PDF brief is not white-labelled. It carries the client's logo and the Contested name.
- There is no SSO and no SOC 2 report yet.
